Yasamin Karbalaeisadegh received her PhD in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. She has worked on quantitative ultrasound methods for biological tissue characterization. She joined Ultrasound Imaging and Therapeutics Research Laboratory in January 2021 to pursue her research in biomedical imaging as a postdoctoral fellow.
Outside work she enjoys racquetball, movies, books, long walks and playing the violin.
