Samuel is a Fulbright fellow PhD candidate from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His current research interests are in the application of ultrasound elastography methods for therapy guidance and monitoring, specifically in the heart and skin.
He received his B.S. (2018) and M.S. (2020) degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande, Brazil, with a focus on Electronics and Telecommunications. His master’s research was dedicated to the design of flexible and miniaturized RFID devices for Wireless Body-Area Network (WBAN) applications.
In his free time, he enjoys going to music concerts, re-watching Harry Potter and reading a good story.
