Jeungyoon Lee is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech specializing in ultrasound/photoacoustic (US/PA) imaging and ultrasound-guided focused ultrasound (USgFUS). She develops end-to-end imaging and therapy pipelines—from transducer control and data acquisition to real-time algorithms and in vivo validation—with an emphasis on quantitative thermometry, hyperthermia, and immunotherapy guidance.
Prior to Georgia Tech, she worked on LG Electronics’ on-device AI team, contributing to a driver development kit and optimizing computer-vision algorithms for embedded hardware. She earned her B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Sogang University (South Korea), where her graduate work focused on ultrasound imaging algorithm development and implementation.
