Anamik Jhunjhunwala is a Biomedical Engineering PhD Student at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University. He graduated with a BS in Bioengineering and a BA in Economics from the University of California, San Diego.
His undergraduate research consisted of working with Cancer-on-a-Chip Systems for personalized chemotherapy, using Photoacoustic Imaging to monitor Heparin dosage in real-time and the design of a Digital Droplet High Resolution Melt system for blood-borne pathogen identification. He has also worked with Molecular Diagnostics at Cepheid Inc. as a Systems Integration Engineer where he worked on improving the multiplexing capabilities of the GeneXpert.
He enjoys playing tennis and table tennis, traveling to less-trafficked vacation spots and cooking for his friends.
