He received his PhD from Georgia Tech, focusing on monitoring and control of focused ultrasound therapies in the central nervous system. Previously, he was an Instructor in Radiology at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, studying the translation of improved B-mode and shear-wave ultrasound imaging approaches to clinical problems and low-power devices.
Scott is a fair-weather fan of Boston sports and US Soccer, a serviceable drummer for non-aspirational cover bands, and a LaTeX evangelist.
