Samuel is a Fulbright fellow PhD student at the Georgia Institute of Technology and his current research interests are in medical ultrasound imaging and therapeutics, specifically in shear wave imaging for cardiac applications.
He received his B.S. (2018) and M.S. (2020) degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande, Brazil, with a focus on Electronics and Telecommunications. His master’s research was dedicated to the design of flexible and miniaturized RFID devices for Wireless Body-Area Network (WBAN) applications.
In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends, going to music concerts and reading a good sci-fi story.
