Ayoung Choe is a postdoctoral researcher in the Ultrasound Imaging and Therapeutics Research Laboratory at Georgia Institute of Technology. She received her Ph.D. degree in Energy Engineering from the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), Ulsan, Republic of Korea in 2020. She has studied about stimuli-responsive micro/nanomaterials for wearable sensor and actuators, and she wants to extend her research field including the development of responsive nanoparticle-based biosensors and photoacoustic imaging.
Outside work, she enjoys swimming, hiking, boxing and hapkido.
