We are proud to share that our recent Ph.D. graduate, Dr. Anamik Jhunjhunwala, was selected as the student reflection speaker at Georgia Tech’s Spring 2025 Ph.D. commencement ceremony, held on Thursday, May 1st, at the McCamish Pavillion.
Anamik’s academic journey at Georgia Tech is a testament to his drive and intellectual curiosity. In addition to completing his Ph.D., he earned two master’s degrees — M.S. in Biomedical Engineering (2023) and M.S. in Analytics (2024) — following dual bachelor’s degrees from the University of California, San Diego. In his commencement address, Anamik celebrated the achievements of his fellow graduates, highlighting the resilience, humility, and gratitude that shaped their paths.
“You once stood upon the shoulders of giants, who carried you to the edges of knowledge. As you stand at the frontier today, through your dedication and determination, each of you has become a giant yourself. Someday soon, new explorers will stand on your shoulders, looking toward new horizons, and you’ll guide them into the unknown,” he said.
